Happy Birthday to us

It’s the blog’s first birthday today, and the last blog day before Christmas, so I’d like to extend my thanks to everyone who has helped make the blog a success. (Er, that’s you lot: the readers and, more specifically, the writers.)
To celebrate, the chatroom will be open for most of the day (yes, it’s open now), so feel free to drop in for an imaginary tipple.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the highs, the lows and all that came in between – and hope you’ll join us for more of the same in 2007.
On behalf of everyone at davidgilmour.com, have a very Merry Christmas… and a Happy Birthday as well.
Your music inspired more generations then our mind’s can ever fathem and i thank you.

Happy 1st birthday blog !
It’s been a rough week on this end after having had abdominal surgery but the good news is that I get to go home from the hospital in time for Christmas. Full recovery of course is a bit away.
So a very Merry Christmas to you F.Ed and my fellow bloggers and look forward to more next year.
Cheers,
Nisha

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!~*,MERRY CHRISTMAS!!~*,GOD HELP ME!! `*
I love this time a year, and every year just gets better, there are more decorations, more memories,more things to look forward too. It’s a time when may have a chance to see whats become of long lost family members. A time to listen to old classic Christmas toons, and find out if anybody is going to add a new one this year? And it’s not just the smell of brandy comming out of something you made yourself to drink. It’s the smell of candles, pine, an open fire (if you have a fire place like me), and all those delectable goodies…. Yes! goodies!….scrumptious wonderfull morsels of goodness, mmmmmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about a double cream lemon pie right now. How about the world famous “Enstroms Toffie”, all the boxes of chocolates and candies, not to mention the Christmas feast…..well, you know what I mean.
This time of year is also a time for those of us getting older, to simply disregaurd our better judgement, and gorge ourselves on whatever the hell we want. Why not we’ve earned it, we have spent most of the year watching what we eat, and in a way it’s kind of like payday. We don’t care about the consequences, we’ll worry about that at the beginning of the new year. After all, why do they make Tums, Malox, and Prilosec anyway…there’s poeple who work in the plants that manufacture that stuff…we need to support theyre jobs! … Come to think of it we will be supporting pastry chefs and candie makers as well, it’s all good!
Well Fed, Bloggers, David, Polly, and band;
Merry Merry Christmas
I cannot believe it has been a year. I hope next year is as exciting as this past year.
