Hi! My name is Raíza, I'm writing from Brasil and I would like to know if, by any chance, David Gilmour is planning on having a concert here in Latin America since there are many many fans here who would be extremely happy if he comes...

If not, I'm going to London in December and I wanna know as well if he's having a concert then...

I'm sorry for my English but I bet that any of you can speak Portuguese at all right?!

Bye!!!

[Raíza, your English is better than that of many English-only speakers. Thank you for writing. I wish I had good news for you, but I'm sorry, there are no plans for any shows anywhere. If that changes, the details will be here. Have a lovely time in London. - FEd]

Let's give David a break. He must be listening to others tell him how dangerous the music is.

When I was a very young girl, Elvis and Rock & Roll came on the scene and everyone said this would be the end of music and would ruin children. Next, Janis Joplin, then the 70s. It will always be something.

David, if parents instil good values, children will usually make good choices. It is all about responsibility and accountability.

In our country, lawyers like to use outside influence as being the 'cause' for why someone committed a crime. Rather than the fact that it was a choice that was made. A famous case was 'the Wilding in Central Park'. Their defense was that they were raised with examples of leadership like Dick Nixon. A lot of us would like to blame things on him, but it is still about choice. You choose to do either the right thing or the wrong thing.

Music does not compel you do anything you have not already chosen to do. Except maybe to dance badly.

[Welcome to my kingdom, the kitchen, Andrew! (...where I'm still waiting for someone to teach me how to listen to -good- music... any help?) ... - Michèle]

Deal. The issue is that you are over there and I'm over here.

Thanks.

Andrew

what i'm saying is is that certain things are unsuitable for children. look there's reason why every rap cd has a ''parental advisory explicit content'' sticker on them and no, i'm not the type that thinks that GTA should be banned, but yet again there's a reason why every GTA game has an 18 age rating because these things just aren't suitable for kids.

and people wonder why today's youth is so f*cked up? i blame the parents.
